Swollen toe.

Hi, i just noticed that one of my bearded's toes on his back right leg are swollen. he does not seem to be too bothered by it he still eats and runs around like normal. its not red but it seems like his claw was bleeding. just wondering if this is something that will go away with time or am i going to need to schedule a vet appointment? As always thanks!

It's possibly due to getting his nail caught in something that caused irritation or twisting. It could also be swelling due to shedding which goes down after the shed is done. It doesn't look severe based on that photo so hopefully it will resolve on its own. If you see bleeding or an open wound, put some plain neosporin on it to help protect from infection. Keep a look out for increased swelling or open wounds that may indicate infection or a more serious issue that warrants vet treatment.

Thank You! It does seem that the claw an his toe has some blood in it but other than that no open wounds.
