Swollen toe?

So I came home this afternoon and noticed that one of my beardies has a swollen toe on his left front foot, it looks twisted too. He's eating still and walking around on it, he also lets me touch it and it doesn't seem like it's bothering him. I'm not sure what it's from but it wasn't like that yesterday. I haven't gotten a chance to trim his nails recently which is why they're so long could it be from that? I'm just not sure what happened and what to do for him. Any ideas?

Hi Zoe...it might be that he snagged his nail on something or just twisted it somehow. Keep an eye on it , hopefully it will go down. If it gets worse or if the other toes start,you might need to see a vet , but I don't think it's too bad ATM. Keep him well hydrated, too.

Thank you! Do you think it'll lay normal again over time, because it is twisted in. Also I plan on cutting his nails tonght so nothing happens to his other toes, should I cut that nail too or wait until the swelling goes down?

I can't say how the toe will heal...eventually the swelling should go down. As for cutting nails, if you've done it before go ahead + trim the healthy ones first. If you're positive that his bad toe's nail is not loose and there's no pain you might just snip it as quickly as you can.

Thank you for giving me a piece of mind. He let me cut the bad one without any problems, hopefully it heals quickly.
