Swollen eye??

This is strange and I've never seen or heard about this before. I don't have a computer and I am on the iPhone so I can't post a pic. But the top of his eye is swollen. The top half. It's like a bump. There is no discoloration and it is on his left eye. As if he was punched. If anyone's been in a fight and got punched it looks like that. I only noticed it now so I don't know how long it's been there. His eye is open fine he doesn't seem to be under any stress or anything. My temps are good and I have a repti sun 10. Been feeding him silk worms for the most part. Kale and collard for greens.
If no one understands can someone help me get a picture up? Also he is not shedding so it is not eye bulging

His eyeball is not swollen. Don't know the beardie term but his eye socket would be swollen.
I do not use a loose substrate.I have three pictures on the iPad but don't know how to show

If you go under the photos expressions and check the first title it will help with photo upload. As far as a swollen eye it sounds like a vet visit is in order. Please post the pictures and I'm sure people can tell for sure if it is necessary to visit a vet. Good luck I hope to see them soon

The vet wants 155 dollars just to examine. Which I don't have a problem wit but they don't have a reptile specialist on site. So I don't know how reliable it will be.

Have you seen the article on here yet? How long ago did this start. I am uncertain so I hope someone with more experience gets on here soon. I would really recommend reading the article in full and see if it sounds like what is going on. Sorry I can't be of more help

To my knowledge eye bulging was for shedding. he is not shedding. There is no discharge so I assume there is no infection. I think it's getting bigger or I'm just too worried. Is he just trying to grow? I don't get it.

The vet was more than unhelpful. I paid 100 dollars to hear what I already knew. Said that it was not normal never seen that before. It "could" be an infection "I don't know" is what she said. He could have bumped it. Could have blah blah blah. I knew all of this already. She didn't even seem to know how to handle him properly. Reached over his head and squeezed the sides of his body. Didn't bother to support his legs. So he panicked like normal beardie would do an she said wow he's pretty active. I was thinking no he's not look at him. hold him properly. I didn't even consider taking medication from this woman after that. And after she told me to get an infrared light.
She pushed on the part that was swollen and like pushed his eye. It looked purple underneath right away like a bruise. Overall it was upsetting.

AWW I'm so sorry to hear this It is always upsetting to get no answers. It makes you worry about what your gonna have to do if you ever have a bigger situation. May want to consider researching for a reptile vet for future visits. I am working on this myself.

On another note, is it any better? Were you able to contact Tracie? I don't think I would have wanted medicine from this person either. You should be charging her for the bruise on the eye hope you get info soon

It is still the same. My girlfriend says that it looks like one side grew and the other didn't. Like he's trying to get bigger or something. Although I'm not sure if that's possible I'm not ruling out everything seeing as how it's so strange.
I'm going to contact the girl who owns the reptile store here and see if she knows one.

The bump seems to have gone down now and he is starting to look normal again
