Switching to tile questions?!?

Im just asking general questions and tell me which one would be best and if so why.

1. Ceramic or natural tile?
2. Grout or no grout? (What is the significance of the grout?)
3. Should i glue them together and make one piece or leave them separate?
4. Whats the point of putting towel underneath it?
5. Is the clean up hard? Would it be easier as one piece or many sheets of tile?
6. Do the dragons get good enough traction to move around easily?

If you have any other tips or opinions i would really appreciate them, thanks

I'd suggest slate tile, pieces that will cover the bottom. I personally didn't use grout. I like that they're easily removable. They clean up very easily as well. I use a layer or so of paper towel underneath to absorb moisture if anything should "slip" through. The slate tile provides plenty of traction and files the nails down.
You CAN use ceramic tile and create traction with sand paper.

The tile is much easier to clean and I find having it loose and in sections makes removal for cleaning and changing paper towels much easier. Ours is in 3 parts.

This is just my personal preference. Others will share their opinions and suggestions as well, I'm sure It's really what works best for you and your beardie
