Oh no, poor Ernie. I am so very sorry that you lost him, he was so special & so sweet. He
absolutely knew how much you loved him. He will ALWAYS be with you. It is so difficult &
emotionally devastating to lose them.

Thank you all for your kind messages it means so much to me. He will always have a place in my heart it's because of him I now love bearded dragons so much. We had the best time together and I hope I can get another little friend when I'm ready although I'm gutted I'll never have Ernie back . I hope I can stay active on this forum and enjoy stories of others beardies doing well for the moment and for anyone's that isn't I hope I can bring them comfort like you have all done for me. Give all your beardies a huge cuddle for me today and cherish every moment

Hello,

The pain of losing your beloved dragon is way harder than most other losses, it really is unbelievable.
Personally, I don't think you ever really get over the loss, it just gets less sharp & you deal with it but it
never really goes away.
One day, you will see a dragon that reminds you of Ernie, & you will want to give him a home.
We all want you to stay on board, if nothing else but to see pictures, or learn new things & help others.
There are a lot of great people here!
