Supplements!

I know there are many posts about supplements already, I have been trying to research it but have got completely baffled by it all! I need it dumbing down for me

My vet recommended that I use Vetark Nutrobal and ACE-High twice a week. (I've never heard of ACE-High before). This is what I have been using so far.
Also I have Exo Terra Multi Vitamin, Calcium and Calcium +D3.

Are these any good? Should I be using any of these at all? If so, which ones and how often?

zoo med and exo terra are both good places to look for supplements. i use zoo med repti calcium w/ D3 and zoo med reptivite. i never heard of the ones your vet recomended, so im not sure if they are better. it depends on how old your beardie age is to how much and how often you give supplenents. this is good website that has good info http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html hope this helped you!!

That sites really useful, thankyou! I have beardies that fit into 3 different age groups on their chart. Guess they all need different then.

So just to clarify, am I best off using the exo terra multi vit and the calcium d3. I have one that is just calcium also, is that any good? I don't know if it contains d3 or not and it doesn't say on the tub

Depends on which way you want to go. Everything you have is good, just depends on how you view things. Don't use the multi-vit and the calcium(with or without D3) at the same time, they seem to have a canceling effect when you do so use them on separate days. Some people say you can overdose on D3 if you use the calcium with D3 and have a functioning UVB bulb(which provides D3); other people don't believe this and use the D3 one. Essentially there are mind-frames of there's no such thing as too much UVB and overdosing. It's up to you but the multi-vit is definitely needed. If it doesn't say D3 on the bottle then it doesn't have it. Personally, living in Oregon where sun and thus vitamin D is rare, I picked the one with D3.

Thanks very much for the advise! I've managed to work out a little supplement timetable for each beardie to make sure they all get what they need
And I'm going with the exo terra ones as nutrobal says its calcium and vitamins.

Still unsure on the D3 - would using calcium with D3 some days and the one without on other days work? Or would I be best just choosing one and going with it?

i would just choose one and stick with that. for as long as ive been here i have not seen a post about a beardie with vitamin toxicity, i use the calcium w D3 and probably always will.

Ok, I'll go with the D3.
Living in the UK they probably need all they can to boost them I guess, what with the lack of natural sunlight!
