Okay, I admit that I'm being stupid. Without researching on how big they are I bought 1000 superworms, and it arrived today.
I opened the box and SHOCKED on how big they are. It was horrible, I was screaming and don't know what to do. They're look so intimidating, I thought they will be as the same size as small mealworm. I was WRONG!!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
I don't think I can stand them and my Bill, the dragon is too small (she is only 10 inches head to tail). I shouldn't feed him that, right?

I feel so stupid!

Hi.
They are kind of big and creepy looking arent they?
It is not recommended to feed supers to beardies that are under 16 inches. Is there anyone on the site in your area that you are near that may buy them from you?

No you cant feed those to him. They are way to big. You will definitly have to worry about impaction if you feed those. Where did you get them from? Maybe you can call them and tell them you didn't realize how big they were before you ordered, and that you have a small guy who cant eat them? You might want to go to the "for sale" section and see if any of the members here would want to purchase them from you. Good lucky.

I just post a thread on the "free stuff" section. Hopefully there is someone near here who would take them.
Mannn... they are SCARY!!!!!
I just got it today and was so excited. I opened the box in our living room, and it was not pretty. I was screaming... and run... after a few minutes finally I was able to close the box again and put them on the porch. :puke:

Where do you live? If you are giving them away I will take them...assuming you are close to me. You might not want to put them on the porch, it is to cold for them and they will die.

My husband just put them back in the house. I saw that you live in CA... it's way to far, but if you can pick it up, it's all yours :D
I put the post on Craigslist and have some respond already.

Yes, they are big indeed and wouldn't be safe to feed to your 10" beardie. I just read your For Free post and noticed that you called them mealworms. Are they superworms or mealworms?
Do they look like these supers?

or like these mealworms?

If they are supers like in the first picture, I suggest you change your post in the For Free forum as supers are better than mealworms when feeding an adult beardie.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
