Hey!

I recently bought some superworms at our Reptile Expo (ha! bought some plastic tongs to go with them too!) and it's the first time my beardie's had them and she loves them! But i have no idea how many to give her. I think she'd eat every single one if i left her alone with them. She gets veggies every day and i'm feeding her superworms every other day and i've been giving her 7-10. She'd really like more than that though :D but i don't want to over do it, not really knowing what a good amount is. And she pleads so hard for more that it breaks my heart not to give her more :D

I've looked through some superworm threads but couldn't find an answer. She is over 16" (18").

Thanks!

i feel that the amout ur giving her is good enuff. any more than that in one sitting wont get digested, from my experience with superworms. question is is she getting other insects along with these, because they tend to get very picky one they taste supers.

Yep, your giving about the right amount for an adult already. I like to mix it up with locusts and butter worms though. Gizmo got very bored of just supers!

I was mixing it up a bit with the crickets i had bought before the expo but they're gone now and i was going to stick with Superworms. Crickets have burned out two of my computers' electrical supply units, i can't seem to keep them from escaping.

I can't see her getting bored after seeing her reaction to them. She was jumping up trying to get them out of my tongs as soon as she saw it coming over the side of the container. She's never gone crazy like that for crickets. I'll watch for it though and keep it in mind.

Thanks for your replies, I'll make you guys the bad guys when i have to tell her "no more!" LOL!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
