I feed my beardies and my turtle superworms. I found the morph/pupa state of the superworm in my turtle tank. I had thought about breeding them but I wonder why it changed when I have read that they need to be isolated and put in seperate containers. I should add that my turtle has soil type bedding and the temps are in the 80's.

So they will go into the pupae stage if they are kept together like mealworms do? Do mealworms not eat the pupae?

I've heard that mealworms will eat it, but I've never witnessed this. My beardie eats them all up before they can even think about pupating.

The reason i ask is becasue I breed mealworms for the outside birds and if I could breed the same way it would be great, unless the isolated way is better for supers.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
