Ok I can't get dubia's cause they are illegal in Canada. I can't get reptiworms either. The cost of shipping is ridiculous let lone the 13% sales tax that we are charged here for the worms and shipping. Too costly!! Can I use supers as a staple and use crickets, hornworms, silks, and butters for variety? Not that I mind the cost but the crickets are driving me crazy. Their smelly even though I am always cleaning their enclosure. I buy 50 at a time for $5 and at least 5 to 10 die on me before I get to feed them to Draco. And I am gutloading them with cricket quencher and the high calcium feed. They also get the salad and veggie throw offs from Draco. Draco is good at eating his salads, veggies and little bits of fruit which cuts down on his live feeder consumption. He's just over a year old, born late Aug. 2010. I can though get 250 supers for $15 and it sounds as though they are easier to keep and not as smelly. But I read here that there's still a chance of impaction and that they are not as nutritious as crickets. This is just so confusing to me. :? I mean if crickets are the best I can do, than it's crickets for Draco. Somebody please help me here.
