Hi folks, long time no speak! I've been watching in the background on the forum again for a while, but never seem to have the time to sit down and have a good look at new threads or post etc.. but finally got a day off where I don't have to do 101 things lol
Anywhoo.. i'm wondering about supers for Draco. I just measured him and he is now 16" from nose to tail tip! However, i'm a little confuzzled on the old 16/17" rule, because a LOT of Beardies I see have stubby tails etc... where as Draco has a full, never been nipped, tail. When people say 16/17" until you feed supers, how do they figure that out if their Beardie has a stubby/nipped tail from when they were a babby? I mean, Draco hasn't, so I assume his 16" is a correct measurement and so he would now be able to take Supers, or am I better waiting a while longer, until he is over 17"?
He normally eats Locust btw, that's his staple, with occasional waxworm as a treat and very occasionally (when we can get them) pheonix/butter/silk worms.
Cheers all,
Jon
