Interesting. They are comparing it to Manuka honey from New Zealand which is used as medical grade. Not sure how much of that is marketing vs actual increased medicinal properties.

Pretty much all types of raw unpasturized honey will have some pretty decent health benefits! It does sound a bit like a marketing ploy, especially with the comment about how "this will help increase profits for local honey" but it's not really misleading either.

Any honey like mentioned above will do wonders for wound care, it's been used for thousands of years for that!

Well, there was a story on this recently on Quantum , and this has been highlighted on ABC Gardening and other actually investigative journalism shows on ABC and SBS , but ignored on the commercial networks entirely ( no advertising $ in it I guess and big pharma want people to keep on using their junk ) .

The plant : Leptospermum scoparium, commonly called mānuka, manuka, manuka myrtle, New Zealand teatree, broom tea-tree, or just tea tree, is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family Myrtaceae, native to Australia and New Zealand..
Very common tree in parks and gardens here. And is found throughout the eucalypt woodlands here.

They can't call it Manuka honey even though it's from virtually identical species of bees and plants , because the Kiwi's have the name Manuka Honey copyrighted internationally.
Locations where Leptospermum (Tea Tree) Honey is harvested commercially (also found in WA).

The tree's flowers are literally bee and butterfly and bird magnets !! and many gardens have them :

I'll be including one or two in my garden soon , likely in the front 6m x 3m bed and a one for two in the 6m x 1.5m bed.

So it'll be called something else because of legal restrictions.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
