I've had my baby beardie for almost 3 months now (about 4 or 5 months old) her and I get along pretty well (she doesn't always want to be held, but she'll cuddle herself into my arms, ride my shoulder, ride on my chest, and sometimes fall asleep on me.) I haven't had any scared issues with her when it's me, my cat makes her stressed or scared (once aggressive) she's never bit me EVER, she's never jumped off of me, she kind like baths, but she always kept herself afloat. This morning when the lights went on I look in her hide (throw the glass) she was just waking up. When she saw me she ran to the back of her hide and scratched it. I removed the hide from her tank, she then buried herself under the paper towels I use to cover the bottom of the tank. I thought a bath would calm her down. So I got some warm water ready. When I picked her up she leaped out of my hands onto the ground (she luckily landed on something soft every time) after a couple times of that she dug herself into my arm and body. I carried her to the warm water. Once she got in she dove under the water, I had my fingers under nieth her for the most part so I was able to scoop her head above the water. I quickly got her out of the water. On my way back to the tank she tried to jump out of my hands, but I caught her and covered her eyes. For a good 30 minutes she was laying on her rock, she wouldn't move, but her eyes fallowed me, I pet for a bit and tried to get her interested in some food, but she did nothing. She pooped a couple minutes ago (she's just getting over her vomit/diarea fit she had when she ate some live mealworms) she's up now, still not moving, but keeping a close eye on me and what I'm doing. I'm really worried about her. Any additional info on her, her fav insects are cricket, her favorite plant is strawberries. She's about 9 inches, in a ten gallon tank (going to be moved to a 40 soon) temp is always 90 or higher during the day on the warm side. She is given bottled water, pellet food, leafy veggies, wax worms (heads cut off so they're died) crickets, grasshopper legs (sometimes) and strawberries as treats (cant feed her meal worms, she throws up and gets diarea). I have a ball for her as a toy, a fake plant, two rocks (one on cool side and other one warm side that doubles as a hide). Please help I think she's suicidal (if possible). Have anymore question please ask

I don't think she's suicidal, something has her spooked. Is the cat able to get near the enclosure? If so, I'd try to keep them separated. Maybe put some paper or background on the sides of the tank to help her feel a little more secure. The vomit and diarrhea concern me a bit though. It sounds like she has a pretty wide diet. It might be best to narrow it down to just a couple of items. Maybe use dusted crickets as your staple feeder and offer some salads of collard greens and small squash pieces. Keeping the diet simple may be best for now. Can you give me a rundown of your lighting and how you read temperatures? If the temperatures are off or the lighting is off, then it can lead to digestive issues among other things so I'll be glad to see if anything stands out as a possible problem. I know you want what's best for your friend and I'll do what I can to help.

I have a temp and humidit reader that sits on the side of the tank. The basking light is 100w and the UVA light is a bulb too (I don't remember what wattage it is, but once I get her into her bigger tank I'm getting one that goes artists the top) my cat can't get into my room since that one time, the door is close and if I leave the door open its while I'm in there and I can get him out

Does your thermometer have a probe that you can put on the basking spot? It's best if you can get a good reading of the temperature on the basking spot and adjust the lights accordingly. Is your UVB bulb a coil type? If so, I recommend replacing that with a tube style light in order to provide a nice wide, even beam of UVB along the basking area. The coil bulbs can be very intense in a small area which isn't ideal. If you can post some photos of the setup it may be helpful.

It's a coil, I have a tube for her 40 gallon, which she will be moved to soon. How do you post pictures

That's looking a bit crowded. Is the 40g breeder available now? If so, I'd move her sooner rather than later. I would also replace that dial thermometer with a temp gun or digital thermometer w/probe so you can get accurate temperature readings. Having the lighting set properly based on temperature and providing a nice UVB distribution along with the extra space should help quite a bit.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
