Hi guys
My female beardie Gizmo is about 1 1/5 yrs old, 16" long and i have had her for nearly 1 month. I seemed to have had nothing but trouble with them, and have grown so attached to them.
Anyway, on the 16th May she laid a clutch of 22 fertile eggs, which are being incubated in the local reptile store. On the 19th May i took her and the male to get a check up at the reptile vets, and they were both given a clean bill of health.
She is in her own 3ft viv, with kitchen paper for substrate. The temps are 102 in hot end and 85 in cooler end measured with a digital probe thermometer. She has a repti glo 10 coil uvb ( i know there is controversy over these but vet assured me that the problem has been sorted, however i am starting to worry). She was fed this morning (uk time), fresh veg (greens and butternut squash) and also about 10 hoppers, which she chased and enjoyed every one. They get dusted with calci dust 5 times per week and nutrobal 2 times per week.
She has been doing really well, eating lots an very active, right up until a few hours ago. She seems very limp and jumps if i go to touch her. She has also pooped about 5-6 times today whereas usually it's 1-2.
I have spoken with the vets and made an appointment for her for the morning, as they said they would need to see her to diagnose her
Any suggestions would be greatfully appreciated
Thanks
Kerry
