This is neither here nor there and I have not had this issue, but wasn't there a remark somewhere about pricking the maggot with a sanitized pin to allow digestive fluid to get in them? Again, haven't tried it, and I could only imagine this would be super tedious, just thought I'd throw it out there.

Well, Noot's first poop after installing the new uvb was smooth and absolutely worm-free! I guess it was an issue with that, but it's time to upgrade to bigger worms and other bugs anyway. I can't believe how much he's growing! Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts with me.
