Such a thing as on and off brumation?

Sense it started getting cold around october my beardie has gone from a ravenous trashcan to eating very little or not at all. He soon hunkered down in his hide for 2 weeks till he came out, now he sleeps early/try to get out of the tank to sleep sometimes and other times he's eating a little then basking like normal. Poop has been irregular due to not eating normally. Throughout all this he hasn't lost any weight and appears to have gained some. Is it possible for a dragon to go through an "on and off" brumation instead of one long one?

Hello,

Yes, they can definitely go in & out in a light intermittent brumation phase. They seem to do different things during their brumation.
Since he hasn't lost any weight, that is a great sign he is healthy right now. Just let him regulate his behavior during this time & keep track of his weight & physical condition.
