Hello Everyone, I have about a three month beardie, I was using paper towels , but have now put in a substrate liner, that has like rocky pieces on it. I have tried to brush all the loose pieces off, but i'm worried he may pick up some small particles when chasing his food. Im thinking of going back to newspaper or towels until he gets to be an adult, then put the rocky substrate back in. What do you think? How much would he have to ingest to get impacted?

You could try a non-adhesive shelf liner. You can wipe them down. I think I know the substrate you are talking about. I purchased something similar from Perco. It's sort of textured and gritty feeling. I never used it. Went with non-adhesive shelf liner with two porcelain tiles on top to provide a different texture.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
