substrate for custom wood cage?

hey im in home depot rigth now i need to know after i satin and seal this what do i put down as substrate on the ply wood.

"im using all ply wood for this.
also how far away should the heat, and uvb be away from the animal im puting all the lights inside the tank
help quick they close in 30 mins

you should put textured ceramic tile as the substrate. hope that helps!
