Substrate and lighting question?

So I tiled my sons beardies enclosure with a ceramic slate like tile. Do you guys that do this put anything to cushion or for cleanup underneath the tile? As for lighting and heat I moved around his basking area and moved it higher. It gets about 110 degrees on the rock. Is this too hot? Should I lower? We use a 75W basking lamp with a 100W heat emitter only in winter as the house is colder.

New basking temp is good, especially if cooler areas are easily available. I leave the tile in my tank loose so I can pull it out for cleaning. I put down a small fleece blanket for relief from the hard floor and to allow burrowing. that can be tossed in the washer for cleaning as needed.
