Hi everyone. I was just wondering if there is an alternative to using tiles in the viv? I would love to use tiles however they would make the viv too heavy if we have to pick it up. I am currently using paper towels as substrate.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

i use cardboard. I used a big ikea box and cut a piece to fit into the viv. I've covered this with brown packing paper. He's been scratching the paper a bit walking over it but you just change the packing paper every once in a while.

Non adhesive shelf liner is what I've been using. Gave up the reptile carpet. You could also put down some tiles on top of the shelf liner. It is washable, but I just got another roll for 5-7$ and switched out his old liner. Easy to clean and bugs won't get under it, if it's cut right.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
