Submissive males?

I recently bought a hypo male, he is pretty big, a lot bigger than my other male. I would like to use my hypo for breeding this year, however... He is submissive to my smaller male. Every time they see one another the hypo runs and the other male chases and displays clear dominance. Now I'm worried the new hypo male will not breed with my females. Has anyone else came across this? I do not cage them together by the way, my observations are from seeing them react to one another through glass. Tonight I took them both out on the floor and monitored their behavior, even with out the glass my larger hypo male ran from the other male. I really shocked, I expected him to be very dominate :shock:
