stunted not growing ???

My first pair of dragons were reds from draggin tails
Last yr they bred and i hatched 7 clutches of babies
Very healthy very nice red babies, Harder to find owners for that many babies so i sold then {most} to local stores very cheap
One babie would not eat well so i kept her because i didnt think a store or new owner would take the time or have the knowledge to baby her
She is now eating very well, greeens, worms, crickets, ect but is only 1/3 her normal size
Now that she is eating , will she grow, ??? anyone who ever encountered this i would be glad to here your results
Also i live in Daytona Beach and would be willing to give her to proper person for good home
Very healthy, just small, tons of color including all over legs, head and body

Yes she will grow I had a dragon that would eat like 1 bug a day and nothing else for a month or so then she started to eat like crazy she is really fat now hahaha

Thanks for reply, the dragon is now about 9 months old and still very small, not sure when their growing cycle stops

Sounds like from her not eating too well early on, her growth is probably stunted. She will probably stay small but can still be just as healthy. I have a petco dragon that is only 16" long (has always been a great eater, just very small and probably was stunted because of the horrible care he received there) but he's fat and healthy.

hey im having a simulare problem with one of my brand new berdies,Harley, she doesnt seem to be eating, and shes much more laid back than my other new berdie, Freckles. They are both still really little, (harley 5.5in, and Freckles 5.75 in) but whenever i put the food into thier cage only freckles will have any of it, in fact he ate both her share and his the first 2 days i had them...but then i started taking her out of thier cage and putting her in a smaller cage with just the crickets and then she ate but i honestly dont think she has eaten since then. Also though they are about the same length she is much skinnier and sleeps most of the day while freckles is much more active. Ive only had them about a week and while freckles seems to have grown she seems to have shrunk, also her poop is sort of fluffy looking like foam. Does she just not like the food (Crickets, carrots, and worms)? Is there something wrong, is she just getting used to her new home, and should i just not worried about it and ill have a small berdie for life? So to rap it all up, shes small, she doesnt eat much and her poop is like foam...Should I be conserned?...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I would be more conceerned with poop than anything, you said carrots, I hope you are also feeding greens, mustard , collard, turnip,
I also use grader to shred sqash
A llot of people think beardes need company but it can stress them out, in the wild they have no contact with each other except for breeding
I would keep them seperate, full time, at least untill you get them healthy, The more dominent will get more food best light ect
its survival of the fittest, mine would not eat greens at first so i had to force feed her , as per vet, her greens
was a pain but now she loves them and is doing very well although still small
Make sure you have proper light, ck forum, and take them out for natural light when possible
HOPE this helps, dragons r awesome , ps always put greens in first without crickets ect . That way they will eat greens and not just fill up on crickets, mine now will pig out on greens over crickets a lot of days

well... that night that i posted that Harley died...i was really upset, but we talked to the girl at the store about what could have cuased her to act like that, and we told her about how the day we got Harley a little girl squished her alil to hard when trying to pick her up, and she thinks that might have been it, what an awful way to go...but becuase of thier policy about an animal dying within 14 days of buying it we did get another one and in honnor of Harley i named him Kawosoki ( a motor cycle company, like Harley Davidson) and now Kawosoki is happy and healthy, and that alone makes me feel a lot better, but thanks for the help either way :?
