Stuck shed?

My beardie shed his tail a couple of weeks ago and the end of his tail never shed or went back to his tan color (granted he was already about to shed when I got him). Is this maybe a stuck shed or more likely his natural color? Any help would be greatly appreciated. He is about to go through a full body shed as we speak. The images below are the same just one with the flash and one without since it was dark.

ok thank you! He's my first beardie and likes to worry me. He's tricked me into thinking he died twice in one week!

Oh his current thing (besides being grumpy from the full body shed) is trying to trick me on whether he is a boy or girl. Now I got a thread on that to get some more experienced help.
