Hi! So I have had Spyro for about a month now and I'm am wondering if she has stress marks on her belly or if they are just her pattern.. I thought that stress marks would go away after she got settled in! Does this mean that she is upset or something I'm doing is wrong?

Stress marks is a misnomer. They can happen from many different things, so don't worry about it. Its not a pattern, either.

I'm really not sure how stress marks became such an issue. They are normal and can manifest throughout the day and are not an indicator of stress or displeasure so don't stress over it..hehe..my caffeine overload has kicked in.

Ok! Yeah they get darker and lighter throughout the day! I appreciate the responses! I woke her up last night and heard her hiss for the first time! It was freakin adorable lol... Very proud new beardie owner here! Probably worrying about absolutely nothing!

I wouldn't worry about it. Many people here are worriers, and it can often times lead to us finding out problems in the end!
My beardie used to hiss at me whenever I woke her, too. She still sometimes does, but usually she just gives me the death glare.

Hello,

How is your girl doing? They can change colors & patterns throughout the day, depending on their mood & body temperature.

She is doing great! Eating like a horse! I checked on her last night before I went to sleep and she was sleeping on the very edge of her hammock with her little leg hanging off the side! She was so relaxed it was adorable!!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
