hello i had gotten my bearded dragon 5-20-15 she was around 8 inches when i got her, was alert and fat (which i love) but anyways i had a 20 gallon tank she was in for about 2 days and got a bigger one that around 55 gal, the temperature on the hot side is a little under 100 degrees, the basking bulb is 100w and the uvb is 13w, she seems to love it in there she uses the bathroom regularly eats her veggies, kale and apple are her favorite. and she just loves her crickets. but every time shes in her tank she has stress marks but then when i have her out running around on me or what not the stress marks are almost gone in about 10 mins is there something i could do to help her ?? and one more thing about a week ago she had shedded her body. but when i first got her, her body color was dull and her tail was bright, she shedded her body around a week ago like i said and now her tail is dull why is this is she about to shed her tail ? ill post pictures with this also

She is a very pretty girl! Her body does look like it is going to shed in different patches, as well as her tail.
The compact/coil light for UVB will need to be replaced. Which brand is it?
They are notorious for emitting the incorrect UVB wavelength which is too strong & concentrated in a small area. They can damage the eyes as well as cause lethargic behavior also. We recommend using either a Reptisun 10 tube or an Arcadia D3 12% tube bulb instead for much better UVB emissions. Are you using a bright white light for basking also?

I have the exo terra 13w reptile Uvb 150 that is coil light. And the exo terra 100w intense basking spot + 75% intense

Were you able to look for another UVB light today?
How is she doing, any improvements? For now, I would turn the compact/coil light off & just leave the basking light on right now so it wont hurt her eyes.

thank you it was hard to come up with! and no im not sure what to look for any suggestions? and she starting to shed her tail. also could that be why shes so stressed ?? im still kinda new to all this

Hi! Pretty Dragon! You will need to get either the ReptiSun 10.0 tube, or the Arcadia 13% D3 bulb. Make sure to turn off the coil/compact til you get the new one. The coil may be causing eye problems. Does she have a black beard?

Stress marks or black beards, etc can be brought on by either mating behavior or improper tank setup or if they are not feeling well.
In this case, I would say it is probably the lighting causing a lot of the stress. I think once you get that changed out, she will start to do better.

Those bulbs are not good. I mount my tubes in the tank. I found light the fixture at Walmart for 12$ then I bought command hook for another 3$. They are mounted 7 inches away from the basking area. Thats the easiest way for me. The most expensive part is the bulb. If its nice where you like you can take her outside for some natural rays

shes doing great as usual, ate her crickets and some of her salad today thank you so much for all the help
