Stress marks

So I've had brodie about 2 months now and I have only seen him with a completly clear belly once and that was when he was burritoed in my jacket for about 4 hours. I do know that his tank isn't as warm as it should be right now, because our propane went out our whole house is colder therefore his tank is about 85 in the baskin spot 75 on the warm side and about 60 on the cool side. We have put in an order for the propane, so this will be over soon (hopefully the winter will be too!). Even when his temps were well maintained at about 95 at his basking spot 90 on the warm side and 75 on the cool side he still had marks. Any thing that may stress them out other then temp? Does he just feel most comfortable being held all the time? TIA!

AGHHH!verrrrry bad, most of the time bearded dragons will show stress marks for no other reason than that their cold.you my friend have a VERY cold cage,basking=110-115 degrees,warm side=90 degrees coolside=high 70's-mid 80's!please change this ASAP for your beardies health

Well there is your answer. 85 on basking spot is freezing for BD's.

It's like being thrown in the snow in a t-shirt and shorts for...well as long as your beardies had those temps!

Thanks so much guys. We are waiting on the propane to be delivered, but for now I have a 100watt CHE on him and have blankets over the top and down a few sides to keep it as warm as I can for now...I'm trying with the heat, but I can't heat my house any warmer with out the propane. I already have the electric heaters on in his room and keeping the oven on too. Hopefully not much longer til it is delivered!

OH but wait...I just remembered I had his temps up about 100 at his basking spot and he was open mouth breathing...So I figured I had it too hot for him, or could it just be he's been used to the cooler temps?
