stress marks and cool side

my beardie seems to be getting stressed when ever he is on the cool side ive been watching him for two days.
he went to sleep on the cool side yesterday and today i woke up and he was still there with stress marks. i fed him then he went on the basking side and his stress marks started to go. has anyone else experienced this? i find it unsual because it cant be the heat because he stress marks start to go when he is basking. thanx.

What light setup are you using and what are his temps on the hot side and cool side? How are you measuring them?

basking light and fluro light (reptisun 10). the temps are 95f - 100f on basking side and 80f to 85f on cool side. and im using a temp gun to measure. the fluo light is 7 - 8 icnhes away from the highest point which is the wooden log he sits on. its a bit weird that he stressed in the cool side but ok when under the basking light

Could it be that she is getting ready for a shed? Mine kinda does the same thing, I think that when they start basking or are on the cool side, they turn darker to absorb more heat.... just my thought. Today my BD was the same way, all day she has been dark underneath and her skin is darker....
