Hi everyone im new to this site so go easy on me lol, I have a question for anyone who can help? My dragon went into brumation at a very early age of about 8 - 9 months and as a result is now a year old and quite small, does anyone think he has missed out on some important growing? My second question is this, he now (after coming out of brumation) lies in his basking spot (and shaded area) in a starfish position! Is this normal? my temps are checked frequently and are correct, he has calcium dust on locusts and his repti sun 10.0 is only 5 months old and is about 10" away from his platform. Please if anyone can help with my questions would be greatful. trying to learn how to get pictures on here as soon as i do i`ll post them..

Your dragon's shape looks good to me ;) You could have your reptisun closer though, What are your basking temps, both cool side and hot side?

basking temp is 112 but he has room to move out of direct spot as its a platform. Cool side is 78 - 82

Sounds normal to me, I believe putting your head down low is a sign of submission. Females will head bob reeeeally slowly, going really low and high.

Hi,
What a cutie! :D Around here the stretched out leg or legs are called "sexy leg" or "sexy legs" and shows they are comfortable and it's just a change of position. It's fine.
What are you measuring your temps with? 112 is way to hot for a basking surface. You locate the UVB 6 to 8 inches from basking so you want him comfortable there, not hot and moving away from the UVB.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
