Strange Skin Patches

My Norbert has a yellowish white patch on his back that has been there for a couple weeks and now he has another one on his head. Other than the spots he seems perfectly normal (good appetite, energy level, pooping okay, etc.) and they don't seem to be bothering him in any way, but I can't help but worry about it. I have been researching different illnesses and I haven't found one that sounds/looks like his problem. The spots almost look like his scales shed and new scales didn't come in for some reason. I was thinking of maybe trying some Betadine or something? Here are some pictures that will hopefully help. Please let me know if you have any idea as to what it may be and/or ways of treating it. Thank you!

Looks like uneven or retained shed. Nothing to worry about, but if it stays for a while (couple more weeks), try very gently scrubbing it with a baby toothbrush when you give a bath.

Hi Kelly....I agree that the first 2 pics look harmless, but the last 2 look odd. Just to be on the safe side, you could apply a small amount of antifungal cream like Lamisil, just in case there's a bit of fungal infection going on. At the very least, it will keep it moist for easier shedding.

That sounds like a good idea. I would rather be safe than sorry! The lamisil won't hurt him if it ends up being something other than a fungal infection right? Thank you for the great advice!!!

If it were me I would pm Drache613 and ask her just to make sure...It doesnt really look like retained shed to me.

The one on her back almost looked like a burn can you give us a run down on your tank setup? temps? how close can he get to the heat lamp or UVB?
