Really not much you can do it the vet can't do a skin scraping, maybe find a different vet? Waiting for a shed doesn't seem like a option. You could always try some lamisil just in case it is a fungus.

I have never seen a beardie with ring worm before, but I HAVE seen it on horses and I agree this looks like ringworm. I think you should go to a different vet, get a skin scraping done and get this treated before this goes around your whole household. I remember when that horse at my barn had ring worm, he couldn't be ridden and we all had to wear rubber gloves to protect our skin when handling and treating him for fear of catching it ourselves or passing it on to our horses. It's something best caught and treated asap. I'm not trying to scare you but the chance of catching and spreading ringworm is an issue that you need to come at head on.

Ringworms are also a type of fungus so the Lotramin or Lamasil should be effective. Have you tried any? Your vet should have suggested trying anti-fungals because they will show improvement right away if they are effective and won't hurt anything if there not. Sorry I'm not getting notifications for some reason so feel free to email me if you have more questions.

Yes, it is VERY contagious!

It itches like crazy too! If it is ring worm, please be very careful when you handle him.. Its not a fun thing to have..

I am not sure that this is ringworm...I wrestle and have had ringworm toooo many times to count. Unless beardies ringworm looks different than human ringworm..

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
