My bearded dragon has developed an odd lump on the base of his tail... It's been there for a while, but I just now realized how out of place it is. I'm very certain it's MBD. It's definitely his spine.. I feel so stupid for letting it get this far unnoticed. He's very active and eats A LOT. He isn't having tremors or twitches. But I'm scared that in the future it might end up paralyzing his legs. I've been looking through some old pics of him and I've noticed it's almost always been there, ever since he was little. Just barely noticeable. It's super visible now.. it crushes my soul to see it. He doesn't seem bothered by it, though. Is there any way to reverse it? He's still growing.. I got him around September last year.. I just want his spine to be normal so he can be happy. I mean.. He's already happy, but I hate to see him like that because of my lack of notice to that bump. I thought it was normal. But looking at other beardies, I saw it's not.
Tomorrow I'll be getting a new UVB bulb and maybe some extra vitamins. I'm also looking for a good vet to take him. Please, any good advice would be great. I need to help him.
