Strange 'jowels'

Hi all. This may just be an example of me being unnecessarily paranoid - Geoffrey is my first dragon so still learning.

I've noticed a couple things - first, his beard seems to be poking out (will attach a photo shortly) as though its broken or something. Second, I've noticed he has quite large 'jowels' under his 'ears' I've never noticed this before so could be completely normal. Again, I'll add photos in a min.

He looks O.K, the flared spikes on the side of the head are normal.

It's not the flared spikes, it's the round bits under them. I don't know how to describe them Haha.

Thank you He's got a vet appointment on Monday (general check up) anyway so I'll have them look to be sure.
