Strange cut on snout

Hello everyone back at my favorite forum to ask a question in regards to my bearded dragon. In my experience true bearded dragon owners tend to have more knowledge or helpful tips as compared to vets near me... Anyways i am currently debating on scheduling a vet visit for this strange cut that developed on the tip of my dragons snout. I've notice a dip probably a month ago and thought it was odd. Bathe normally as usual everything perfectly fine, however today I noticed a red spec and I thought it was fruit debris of some sort. I used his bath brush (don't worry its super soft like the ones for babies) and the red spec rubbed off as tiny amount started coming again. I realized okay it's a cut then. If anyone knows how this may have happened or obviously if he injured himself accidentally should I worry about the healing process and/or take him to the vet? I'm just super protective over my dragon lol as I'm sure anyone would be. Thanks in advance!

Has he been doing alot of glass surfing? Any sharp objects in the tank
I would get some raw unpasteurized honey like Manuka and put on the cut its a good anti bacterial and DO NOT leave crickets in the tank they will go straight for the mouth --

Not really any sharp objects really maybe his cave becuase it's fake plastic wood with ridges. Glass surfing yes he's done that for a short time period whenever he pooped he always wanted me to clean it right right away. But I'll definitely try a dab of honey to help speed up the healing. Thank you for the response by the way!

I agree that looks like abrasion from rubbing on something. It is a fairly common issue and should heal up without a problem. Hopefully the honey will help heal and protect it. If you notice a lot more glass surfing and restlessness, it may be helpful to bring him out of his enclosure for a bit to run around and burn off some energy if you have a safe place for him to do so. If not, his behavior should calm again after a while and his chin will heal up. He may eventually form a callus there.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
