My male beardie is about a year and two months and is very sweet and never moody. today he started to bob his head and his beard went black. This I understand because it is starting to be their breeding season. Next though, he would repeatedly go on to his highest rock, smash his face into the glass, run down onto the tile and hit his head on the glass some more. he would then repeat this process (and has been for half an hour. I am already booking him in for a vet appointment but should I mention this? :? At the moment, his beard is jet black and is bobbing his head at me

Can he see his reflection? Perhaps he thinks it's a rival.
He's never had a problem with his reflection in his enclosure, so I am not sure. The reason I am worrying so much is just that he has been a little "off" this week. His poop has been kind of weird and really smelly, as well as it being tinted pink this morning. (not dehydration, he gets fresh veggies and baths often) I have literally watched him for 30 minutes going up and down from that rock, hitting the glass so loud I can hear it, bobbing his head and then turning black. This morning he puffed out and opened his mouth. I should also mention he has been doing this thing for about 3 months where he just puffs out for about 10 seconds every morning and then returns to normal. He's the friendliest and sweetest beardie though.

At his age it sounds like he might be getting a bit randy. He may just never have cared about the "other dragon" until now. Can you cover the glass?

I'd mention the behavior at the vet, but it's probably unrelated to the poops.

How long have the poops been extra smelly? If it has continued for a little while it may be a good idea to bring a sample with you to the vet for analysis.

They differ day to day. Today his poo was tinted a little pink, was really small (which was weird because he hasn't gone in a few days) and didn't smell bad. A few days before we had to open the windows and clear the room because of the smell.

A few months ago he saw his reflection and totally puffed out so I'm not sure he just noticed it now :)

Not so much that he didn't notice it, but that now it annoys him. A juvenile dragon won't have the same motivations (territory, breeding, competition)
as an adult. It's just a guess though.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
