"Strange Behavior"

So Typhon has been doing GREAT....He has had his first Shed, and is growing like a weed, and thus eating like crazy. Just two days ago he started doing something and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me why. I have found him "hiding" more than he is basking. I'll go to look for him in the Am when I turn on his lights, and he is sprawled out on the floor of his tank(Floor is Slate tile). I have trees, his Stuffed Tiger(which he loves...

and some wood, rocks....etc....I just find it weird that he seems to be hiding. The floor gets pretty cold, so I would assume he would want to be on something warmer like his stuffie!! He is eating, and pooping fine also. The first time I saw he hiding, I scooped him up and he kept opening his mounth at me, almost like "any closer and I may bite(OMG NEVER lol).... Any Thoughts?

Hello,

How long have you had him?
What type of lighting are you using for him right now? His eyes look good, has he been squinting any?
He is a very cute dragon! I love the stuffed animal, too. LOL
I am not sure why he would be hiding, unless the lights could be bothering him? He is too young to brumate.

I'm using the Tube Repisun....I've had him for 2.5 months now, and after I posted this and came home today....I noticed that he is starting to shed....Again LOL....2nd time in about a 3 week period. I guess he is growing.....Would that have made him hide? Again tonight I found him on the floor of his tank kindof sprawled out ....almost like he was soaking up the cool stone. The temps are all correct...110-115 basking 90-95 warm side, and 80ish on the cool side. LIke I said before he is eating GREAT!!....He is eating between 20-25 med-large crickets a day, and having 1-2 poops a day also. He doesn't ever seem to squint....
