Strange Behavior!?

My girlfriends beardie ( Believed to be female ) keeps chasing and licking my beardie ( believed to be male ) and she will often climb on his back and pester him , she chases him all around the room , but he will often lick back , but she mounts him and head bobbed twice? but a vet sexed her , and shes a girl..? someone please explain this strange situation!

She is being dominant. They aren't housed together are they? That could lead to injury or worse.

licking is how the explore the world. Everything else you mentioned is dominant behavior and might escalate to fighting. Just like with people, stereotypes of genders aren't always accurate. There are always some that don't fit the mold.
