Strange Behaivor With Isis... And Odin is having trouble

My Bearded Dragon Isis has a wierd trait to her, She is probably 3 months old and I took her outside yesterday to entertain my friend niece. The girl chased her and then Isis didnt just have her Beard turn black she changed from a tan color with grean and grey... To an almost black color.. Then this mourning about 20 mins ago i went to give her food again when i opened the cage she turned a black color all over her body.... Is this a sign for unhealthiness or something???

My other Bearded Dragon Odin who is about 4 months likes to climb the heat rock wire... Well my only concern with him is that he is haveing trouble catching crickets, every other one he bites gets away... He is looking skinny.. But i make sure he gets them even if i have to be brave and break a leg off the cricket and feed it to him. i make sure my crickets eat carrots and spray them with calcium and coat them with vitamins. as well as feed him collard greens... Why is he getting skinny?

I'm not sure what to tell ya about the first question but the second one try putting the crickets in the fridge for a few minutes that will slow them down enough so your beardie can get to them

Hi I don't have all that much experience either but can tell you that my beardies turn black when I take them out in the sun and it's OK, it helps them to absorb the rays... what are your tank temps like? Do you have a spot thermometer? What kind of UVA/UVB are you using?

Have you tried varying the salad? I don't know if you've seen this but it was a lifesaver for us, a nutritional chart on just about everything...

Squash and dandelions are inexpensive and my dragons love both that's their staples, plus crickets & phoenix worms. Different veggies and fruits are good to try out don't know about others but mine will love something one day and the next like "no mom! I HATE that!" damn they are so much like my kids...

One more thing, u mentioned a heat rock wire, I was advised that heat rocks aren't helpfull to beardies unless you have Isis and Odin in an area that gets cold at night... they are not very sensitive to heat from below, and can get overheated or even burn themselves. We had heat rocks in both tanks and were skeptical at first but unplugged them after some research and even though both beardies did seem to like them, they have not missed them and the one rock still in a tank is nice and warm for basking from the heat lamp...
