Stinky Poo

Lately Beardie's poo has had an awful odor to it (worse than before). I'm not sure if it's because he's eating more types of food (squash, clover, banana, zucchini) than he used to. Aside from those foods, he eats dubias and mealworms. He is healthy, has gained weight since brumation and is currently in shed. Is any other possible health causes for such stinky poo?

parasites can make the poo smell really bad..

you might want to get a fecal done to make sure he hasnt got worms

Can you see worms if they have them? Also, I ordered some of that Reptaid medicine last night just to keep on hand, will that help?

With a microscope you can. Is that the Flukers repti aid ? Hold off using that if so.
Also, offer baths 3-4 times a week, and you will want to lay in some Soy Yogurt to help good tummy bacteria not decrease while on medicines for parasites. Also, if the Coccidia count is below 5, don't treat for that either. Dragons have this normally in their gut flora, and when stressed this level goes up.

Get back to us on the meds prescribed, duration, and amount, so we can check that for accuracy. Also the vet should weigh the dragon to get the correct dosage.
