Stinky poo... at-home fecal?

My juvenile beardie has very stinky poops. As in, I have to clean them up right away and take the trash out immediately, or the whole room smells. I read that this could indicate parasites. She eats mainly BSFL, and I can sometimes trick her into some dandilion greens if I mix them with the worms.
I've not had her to the vet yet. Does anyone have recommendations on how to do an at-home fecal? I have access to microscopes, slides, etc., just not sure of the actual procedure.

Doing fecals at home would require more than a microscope. Do you know how to do fecal floats, smears, gram staining, and how to identify nemotoads & protazoans? Then you gotta figure out what meds and dosages to use for any problems you find. A fecal at my vet is only $13...I let them figure out the rest :)

My zoology degree is admittedly a bit rusty, which is why I asked. Although that all sounds fun (honestly, not joking ?), I guess I'll take the easy route and schedule a vet check

My microbiology is rusty also, college was a long time ago. Since you have a zoology degree you probably could do it with some practice and a refresher :)
I can't advise on that...I don't remember a lot of it.

Geez, your vets are CHEAP. Here it costs like $70 or $80 just to walk in and have them SEE them

My vets pretty cool, he's the only one thats willing to see my venomous. Not sure if its his usual price or not, but he doesn't need to see my animals for a fecal. Tomorrow I gotta take one in to see him...hopefully it won't cost much.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
