Still head bobbing

Hello. On Jan 27 we adopted a 2 yet old female. Cute as a button. ? We have a 4 yr old male. The are in separate bibs and will stay that way. He saw her one time. Her tank is above his. He was a cuddly beardie now he is a head bobbing, black beard displaying, foot stomping grouch. We figure he is smelling her. I can barely hold him because he goes wild with the bobbing and other displays. How long do you think this will continue? Have I lost my sweet boy? Help!

It may take a while for him to settle down. Can you put the tanks in separate rooms for a while? His hormones are probably going nuts but I'd imagine he will calm down after a while. Lots of folks have multiple dragons in the same house without a problem in the long term.

Thank you for responding. It's impossible for us to move Lucy's tank right now in the future yes. He is getting better. Not as much during the day and the head is bobbing slower. He's still grouchy! I'm giving him extra love.
