Still have beard color issues, after 2 vet visits

Okay, so I've posted about this issue a couple times, but I took my beardie to the vet and I'm super super pissed. First, they told me I would see their reptile specialists and when I got there she apparently was on maternatity leave, and had been for awhile, they knew she wouldn't be there. I was worried about my beardie so I saw the vet they had there. She looked at him and said all around he looked good, other than the strange colorless spot on his beard that had grown. He also has a spot on his nose, but that seems to be from glass dancing, they took a sample from his beard to see if they grew anything. They told me they would call me within two weeks. Two weeks passed. Three weeks passed. Four weeks passed. Five weeks passed. I finally called figuring maybe the samples just took longer than expected to grow. They told me he had a fungus and they ordered a medicine for me to give him. After and month and a half of this medicine, he didn't get any better. Oh, and on top of that, he hated the medicine so he now ran when he saw me coming. So I took him back, the same vet saw him, and now she says that the spot on his nose ISN'T from glass dancing and that he might have an internal issue. Other than this discoloration, he seems fine, his attitude is good, he's happy, eats amazingly well, and his poo is well... normal. So she gives me another medicine to try, another month and a half later it isn't any different.

I'm cranky with the vet and I'm not sure if I should even worry about the spot, he seems perfectly happy and healthy. The spot is maybe the size of a nickle and it ranges from a gray color to a white color. I'm not sure if I need to take him back to a different vet or if I'm just being a worry wart. If you have any ideas please please please let me know!!

Hello,

Can you post a picture of that area for me? What medication did she give for the fungus, Itraconazole?
Has the area appeared to get larger in size over time?
That is frustrating that they made you wait THAT long for the results without even bothering to call you back regarding those issues.

Sorry it's sideways and so dark. If I use flash it just comes out as one big blob :(

The first time the vet gave me itraconazole and the second time she gave me sulfatrim pediatric. And it hasn't been growing. It looks more like his pigment isn't being produced properly, like when people start to go gray. The area has little speckles of his normal orange on the individual spikes, and at the base they are black. It's very strange.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
