Stripes seems to be having a hard time moving her rear legs. She CAN use them, but it seems like she is dragging them more than using them to walk and maneuver around her cage. She's also been spending a lot of time in ONE particular corner of her cage, since the last few months.
We moved into a new house on January 1. She went through a little bit of relocation stress, but quickly resolved that. She was running around her cage, around the house and the like... and then we got a dog, Bentley. Since Bentley has been with us, I've noticed stripes laying on her back in her cage, unable to turn over. At first I thought it was due to the cage furniture, so I removed it for a couple days but she still seemed to find a way to flip herself over. Just today, I had her out chasing superworms, and she took a step and rolled over...wierd.
Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my beardie? She's got new UV lamps, (two weeks old), clean cage, is fed regularly, and a loving household.
Could it be her cage is too small? I am in the process of picking up a large "condo" for her, as soon as I can get a pickup truck for a day, but she is out of her cage regularly to run around, and is still having problems.
Thanks all.
