Starting to hang in hide more often

So I've noticed my beardie has been wanting to be in his hide more often. He started sleeping in it about a week ago, but now. He'll come out in the morning, bask on the floor for a bit and then go back in... He'll come out to eat a couple of large crickets, then right away want to go back in the hide.

I have 2 hides in his viv that double as basking furniture. I moved the bigger hide on the cool side [ the one he was using ] and moved the smaller hide to the hot side. He instantly went back back in the new smaller hide. The small hide is directly under the basking log and heat lamp

what I'm worried about is he's not getting the proper uvb and heat he needs. His temps are right. Ranging from 108-113 on the hot basking side

75-80 on the cool side.

he actually just came out as I'm typing this sentence. I don't really know what could've made him nervous or scared and have the feel that he needs to hide :?

Taking their hide away is cruel in my opinion.

I let mine hide when they want to. In their own time, they will spend time outside of it. Encourage them by putting things in their viv they may want to climb on. Or take the hide away by day and put it back in at night so they have somewhere they deem safe to sleep.

All my beardies go through "hiding" phases. There is nothing wrong with it as long as they are eating and basking for at least a couple hours a day.
