So after my last beardie died of cancer, I'm just curious about what to do with his old cage?

I am seeing a shop that deals with a specific breeder tomorrow and make another bearded dragon purchase and try this again. So I've been told to sterilize, and have gotten tons of different results on google, so I need some ideas on how to properly sterilize the cage so the new dragon will be ready to move in. Thanks in advance.

I would spray it down with a vinegar/water mixture and scrub off any solid bits. Then I would spray it with a 1:250 concentration of F10SC:water to sanitize everything. That should do the trick. Good luck with your new buddy! :blob5:

Yep F10 everything , I dilute it 1:200 and simply spray the surfaces, let airdry and drain for 30 minutes ==> no more germs !!! , then I simply use a clean piece of paper towel to wipe away any remaining F10 residue and everything is now clean , dry and sterile and good to use.

if you want to be doubly sure, redo the same process , then you can CERTAIN it's JOB DONE !!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
