Hey Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out, I'm pretty new to this. I just got a sterilite container to feed in because it was not working out feeding him in his tank and after reading it seemed like most people do this anyway. But whenever I put him in the sterilite container with the crix he js runs around in there terrified and tries to run out of it (into the see threw walls) I feel just terrible but I want him to eat this way I cant keep feeding him in the viv and having to fish them out at night. Anyone know why he is doing this? Or have this issue? I was thinking about making the container not see threw but he is still scarred in there. Is it normal for them to be scarred and take awhile to get used to it? He isn't eating one! Sorry for the paragraph just worried!

Dont be sorry. I tried that too...with zero results.
Someone on here told me to try putting the crickets in the freezer for a couple minutes so that they become paralized...and then feed them.
It worked amazingly for me. This is how I feed my girl every day. That way she can eat in her own enclosure, but I don't have to worry about chasing crickets around that she didn't catch. If she doesn't eat them all, I can just put the rest back in the cricket keeper. They come back to life, and I can feed another day. Try it :D

Give it a couple tries I had the same problem. I let her settle for another week and actually tonight I tried it and it worked. She chased them around like crazy! I was dropping one at a time in her Viv. All I can say is worms are WAY easier. But I'm waiting for my order. Didn't order in time.

Oh good idea I will how to you put them in the freezer? Just the cricket keeper tube? Crickets started escaping from there which was another reason i switched to the sterilite they cant get out of there!

No, I take the tube from the cricket keeper and shake the crickets into a ziplock baggie. Zip it up and put it in the freezer. Once they are asleep, put your calcium dust on them. Shake it up and feed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
