Hi all! I want to purchase another bearded dragon in the next couple of months, but I'm thinking that two enclosures are going to take up a lot of space in my small apartment, so I'd like to find some somewhat affordable stackable 42-48 inch homes. Any suggestions? Building is out of a question, I'm not handy. :) I can use a screwdriver and hammer, that's all!

I'm looking at the same thing. Coldbloodedenclosure.com has PVC cages their gen2 at a decent price... Boaphiles does as well. There's a large list of adult enclosures somewhere on this forum.

Thanks! I took a look at those, nothing really caught my eye… I wish they had better photos so I could really see what I was paying $300+ for! I like the showcases, but shipped, they're $500 each!

Lol! I thought the same thing because I could still use my dome light... And the tank looks really nice but so not worth that much money!!!

Thank you, that looks very nice actually!!! What kind of light bulb do you use on the inside to make sure it doesn't get too hot?

That took forever to get right. Now, I have a Phillips Halogen flood light (75W I think) hooked up to a lamp dimmer. I had to take out that big piece of mopani in the picture and just have the branch now. When I started it was 133F in there measured with a PE2 Temp Gun. Now, it's 96F. I think I tried three different bulbs to get that dialed in. Still worried it's not putting out enough light even if the temp is okay.
Also, with this enclosure, the fluorescent fixture that they put in is only an 18" fixture so that's not ideal either.

Unfortunately, building one is the best option available. Ask your neighbors or post on CL and ask if someone can build you one fror a fee. Buying one online is not only a mission, but its expensive! I would build one for you but I'm in NYC and shipping costs won't be worth it. You can also try converting a cabinet or dresser into a viv but that needs some mods and a little skill but it's real simple if you know what your doing. Go on YouTube and see how vivs are made. Its pretty easy. Maybe a friend or relative can help you.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
