Stabilising raised logs/sticks?

Hi all,
My little guy is growing quite quickly now, and I'm starting to worry that the logs in his enclosure might not be stable enough now that he is getting big. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for securing them? I was thinking of screwing a large base onto the big log, but I'm a bit reluctant because then it's hard to take out and also hard to put in the oven to disinfect. I have a wooden viv with a glass front, and if I can avoid it I'd rather not do anything permanent to the viv (like putting screws in or something). Any ideas? It looks like this:

That stick is really not wide enough.

Although it would be permanent I recommend putting in a shelf. You can do it as a corner shelf or a shelf along the back wall.

Another option that is not permanent is basically a table, which is just a shelf on it's own legs.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
