I live in St. Louis, MO and was wondering if anyone could recommend a vet near the area that's well educated on beardie care. I have never taken my beardie to the vet and I want to but I don't want to go to a vet that doesn't know a lot about beardies. I have already browsed herpvetconnection and anapsid but hopefully someone from this area has had a good experience with a vet that they could recommend.
Thanks

Hello,

Have you tried Dr. Daniel Wentz? I personally have never gone to him as I am not in Missouri, but he is pretty good from what I have heard & is a nice vet.
He is in Ferguson though so I don't know how close that is to St. Louis.
His phone number is: 314-524-0707 at the Ferguson Animal Hospital.

I hope you are able to find a vet or perhaps he is close enough to you. Let us know how things go.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
