Not 100 percent sure what these are but they were not there before. He's been in braumation and I took him out for a bath and found these. Also he has some unshed skin on his tail and belly. How can I help remove it and what are these dots
Those dots are femoral pores, and they are perfectly normal. They are much more prominent in male dragons. Daily baths during a shed will help your dragon shed more easily.
Thanks, Yea he's a 2 year Maby 3 year old male. I adopted him last year and he's been braumating for almost 3 months now. He's getting more active now so I gave him a bath and noticed this.
He's lost a lot of weight during braumating as he's only ate some green's and many 200 crickets during his session. Do you think I should fatten him up with some wax worms or ssomething before going back on a cricket diet?
Hm, he shouldn't really lose weight during a normal brumation. First thing I'd do is get a fecal done and check for parasites, as they may be a cause of the weight loss...
He hasn't lost alot of weight and he's only pooped Maby 2 or 3 times since braumating. I tried to get him to poop earlier by putting him in warm water but no luck which is weird because it usually works. I was concerned with gut rot. But he's acting somewhat normal again so I just order some Phoenix worms to see how he likes them. Maby after he eats a few times he will be ready for a poop.
I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
