Not sure if this belongs in behavior, or feeding, but here goes. A few moths ago, Lannan decided he didn't like crickets anymore. Since then, I have been continuing with daily salads, BSFL, BS flies, dubia, supers, and other assorted "treat" worms.
As my dubia colony is dwindling, I decided to get a few crickets at the LPS. I thought he would devour them in his "cricket battle dome" (Sterilight tub) as he hasn't seen one in a while. Well...to my surprise, he didn't eat a one. I put him in the bin and he just sat there, making friends with his chirpy/hoppy buddies.
Today, I got an idea. I took the dusted crickets out one by one, and fed them to him with tongs and fingers. He ate them one-cricket-at-a-time. It took a while, but little "Fauntle Roy" ate them all! We finished up with a bowl of BSFL for desert. What a BRAT!!!!! Just wanted to share this "new to me" behavior story with you all. Is this a common thing with beardies?
